About Me

You are feeling tired of being weighed down by the issues you are dealing with. Tired of feeling blocked from your true potential in life. You want yourself and your life back. You are getting closer and closer to reaching out and taking the step inward.

Understand that what you are dealing with is real and valid. It doesn't define you but if left unchecked it may start to. You feel this process happening and have come to the right place to begin sorting out.

I became a therapist because of my fascination with the resiliency of individuals like you and how providing a helping hand creates a transformation in life. I do this work in order to help guide people through their step inward, through the shame, pains, and doubts they experienced still living in the present, towards a happier and healthier future.

I know people can make a difference in the life of another. When I'm able to guide someone through the process it also gives me a sense of connection and meaning in life. Embodying a helpful person who is always there for you.

I know what it is like to deal with shame, confusion, and feeling isolated. Change is always possible in life and I believe wholeheartedly that you deserve to enjoy a life not defined by struggle. You deserve to thrive. You deserve to work with a professional who is dedicated to providing their best selves to you every single session.

Someone who is willing to continuously do the work on themselves through their own struggles and doubts. A fellow participant in the growth and change process.

Change is here for you. You are completely capable of realizing your path towards a better life.

Bio

I am a mental health therapist at my private practice in Lakewood, Colorado. I work to build empathy and trust with patients to facilitate their mindfully based exploration into emotional issues. After witnessing and facilitating change and transformation in patients struggling with severe opiate addiction and complex trauma, I am a firm believer in each individual’s capacity in transcending their issues into a happier and stronger sense of self.

EXPERIENCE

My professional experience began in treating individuals suffering from severe opiate addiction and co-occurring disorders including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family issues, and relational issues. I then joined Healing Roots Wellness Center. There I expanded my practice into treating the emotional impact of chronic illness, traumatic brain injury, gut-brain axis disorder, illness, and burn out that stems from the life of overworked professionals. I work with Krista Day-Gloe, LCSW who continues to lead Healing Roots Wellness Center and I have since started my own private practice.

I continue to develop professionally with a Licensed Addiction Counseling credential and a certification in conducting EMDR therapy. I am currently enrolled in a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training program through Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
